Vegan Fried Rice with Shirowhat

Gorgeous Fried Rice with Shirowhat - make Shirowhat your new secret ingredient.

Directions

  1. Add Olive Oil to a non-stick pan and turn the high on high.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms (we recommend portobello) and sear until brown.
  3. Season the mushrooms with salt.
  4. Add rice to the mushrooms and oil. It’s better to use rice that is at least 1 day old so it can the grains can separate.
  5. Add two table-spoons of Shirowhat and mix in with the rice and mushrooms, letting the rice soak-up the Shirowhat. 1 minute of mixing in.






  6. Add a handful of pre-washed spinach and quickly cook over high heat. 1 minute should be sufficient.
  7. Turn the heat down.
  8. Create a well in the center of the pan and crack a fried egg into the middle of the pan.
  9. Scramble the egg in the middle of the pan until it begins to form, then fold in the fried rice from the sides.
  10. Plate immediately.
  11. Sprinkle sesame seeds to garnish.
